In Hindi we have a word, armaan which means wish, desire, and purpose among many things. The word armaan has its origins in Persia. It's been one of my favourite words for many years. So much that I had named my first ever business plan I made in my teens as Armaan.
So, I ask again, what is your Armaan? Your wish, desire, purpose?
When was the last time you thought about yourself?
When was the last time you had a moment to think about this?
When was the last time sometime asked you this question, not as a token question but with the intention to hear you out?
While "go with the flow" is useful advice sometimes, if we ONLY go with the flow, it can be detrimental. Your identity as a mother doesn't have to overshadow your personal purpose; in fact, it can enhance it.
Being a mom is a significant part of your identity, but it's not the only part. Finding your purpose as a mom can be a transformative experience that not only benefits you but also enriches your family's life.
So, I ask again, what is your Armaan? Your wish, desire, purpose?
Put it out there in the world by commenting below.
